Completed service. The most important issue for me was a tire that randomly lost pressure. They found a nail in the side of that tire, located another tire in Madison and replaced the damaged tire. We did purchase the protection plus plan and it has been well worth it.

The experience on 4/3 was good, but the overall experience started on 1/7 and was bad. I took my vehicle in on 1/7 because I was getting a "driver's door open" light, even though the door was closed and would lock. The issue also resulted in my inability to lower/raise the windows, kept the interior lights on while I was driving, and prevented me from using the remote start feature. On 1/7 I was told that the problem was not with the wiring, and that the problem had to be with either the switch or the motor. I was further told that one of those parts would be in in about 5 days, but the other part was on back order and it might be "two weeks, two months, or longer" before the part came in. I was told that the service people would give me a call when the parts were in. After waiting two and one half months, I called the dealership. I was connected with the Parts Department and was told that the parts were available. I was only then contacted by the service rep to schedule an appointment, which was scheduled on 4/3. At the 4/3 appointment, I was told that a new switch and a new motor had been installed but this did not rectify the problem. I was told that although the switch and the motor had to be replaced, there was a problem with a frayed wire. The bill came to$1,735.22. This was almost $500 more than the estimate ($1,238.29) that I was given on 1/7. $1.735.22 to make a window operational!!! I have purchased my last few vehicles (all Buicks) from Zimbrick and have been having my vehicles serviced at Zimbrick for over 30 years. This was the only time I have felt that the dealership was not first class, but this experience was terrible. Jack Meyer

Crashed the front of my truck into something while it was being serviced. Driving the vehicle home from the service, the Stabile Track light came so I called and ended up in an argument with the service manager responsible for the work on the vehicle. I now have to give up my vehicle again while they put a new bumper on the truck. This series of issues followed issue from the last time I took my truck into Zimbrick for an oil change. In that issue, the director of service was reasonable and offered an accommodation that I didn’t need, but at least he handled it well - this latest issue was not handled well.

In the report, it said I should replace cabin air filters, which I just replaced 6 months ago. I assume they didn't check and just did this off of the schedule. But they also said I should do a fuel injector system cleaning, which isn't part of my trucks service schedule at all. Upselling without true need indicates to me that I should never trust any recommendations by a place and always get a second opinion elsewhere, if I should even go there to begin with. Also, with a 7:30AM drop off I had asked if the truck could be ready by 3PM. The service advisor Jennifer indicated it should be ready by 2:30-3. At 3:20 PM I had to call to see if it was going to be ready soon.

The oil change ended up being fine. Took hour & a half. After receiving email saying car needed oil change i requested a time online. Received call from Zimbrick that there were NO appts until AFTER July 23rd! (On July 1st, I had requested July 9 for an oil change.) Im not sure what goes on at that dealership but this occurs nearly every time we need our oil changed. I guess Jiffy Lube is tbe solution. Very very frustrating.

I brought my vehicle in for an oil leak I found while I was changing my oil, which I have successfully done since I got my drivers license (I’m now 51). I had used a better than oem oil filter. The tech took the easy way out and blamed my aftermarket filter for the leak, though b.s. but ok I’ll play the game and had him swap out the filter for a delco oem unit. I picked up my vehicle drove it home, let it sit overnight and in the morning laid underneath to check… imagine my surprise when I found it still leaking! Now I have to make a multi state trip with a leaky oil system because your tech was lazy and didn’t do his job. I have no time for games or incompetence, to say I’m not happy is an understatement

I thought I scheduled by oil change on line and then a day later received a call from Zimbrick saying my scheduled appointment was not truly scheduled but only "requested". What's the point of using technology to improve customer service and reduce cost if the customer cannot "schedule" but only "request" an appointment. As it turned out my scheduled time was not available so I had to rearrange my schedule for a different day. Other dealerships allow me to schedule my own service using technology, you need to do the same.

So far the experience has been horrible. I scheduled for my vehicle two weeks ahead. Was never contacted about my up coming service. I called to verify that I was in the schedule. I was scheduled but was not contacted. My Sierra EV has VWP that could be done and wanted this to be completed, there is a TSB that shows what to do and even how to bill it to GM. The service advisor and EV service tech knew nothing about this and said that I had no open updates. Which is true this is a VWP modules update. I also asked for tires to be check they were all about 6 psi low, this was never checked or done when I came to pick it up. Next the truck had to go to the body shop for a PDR quote. The quote was not available when I picked up the truck. The service advisor said he would talk to the body shop to get the quote, that never materialized. After a week, I decided to call the body shop my self, they finally sent me the quote, I have since emailed back saying I’d like to move forward, this was last week and it’s now a week later and heard nothing from the body shop. The service adviser on the initial visit also said he would have the tech dig deeper into the VWP module updates, never heard back so called, said he forgot, went a spoke with the tech, the tech still doesn’t know what needs to be done. At this point I’m not sure I or anyone else should ever do business at Zimbrick West GMC. I would like to speak with a store manager. Please call me : Jason Schrandt @ 608-516-3013

Started with not being scheduled to wait for my truck, then the tire was not fixed (had to make another trip) then the sticker (wind shield) was to another vehicle, then it seemed like the oil didn't actually get changed (truck VERY chuggy), had to come back again and wrestle with team about it. They did finally change it again, and the air filter box was not closed. Very poor experience, very unprofessional. Very troublesome. My truck is a major equipment investment. I own large cnc mills as well. If the repairmen for those were this sloppy they would be fired immediately. Just fyi.

The cost for an oil change is more expensive than the east side zimbrick and I had to wait a month longer to get an appointment. Which I agreed to since I had a coupons sent to me by zimbrick only to find out at the appointment that my coupon wouldn’t work.

My concern about my lights not being able to turn on was dismissed by the service advisor as "you never turn on your lights manually. You have the automatic headlights" However. The interior detailing that the appointment was booked was outstanding. The interior of my GMC looks brand new. It was outstanding work.
