Whenever we need service dealership just come through for the best service

Easy drop off, Dealership sent text updates (along with very innovative video showing an issue) and pick up went smoothly. Beginning to end the process was perfect.

I love the people who work at this location but the reason I took my truck in was for noisy breaks. I did the requested service and the following day I heard the breaks again. It does not seem constant but it is very loud when its present.

Everyone was friendly to work with, but the problem I had with my radio cutting out was not fixed.

I was warmly greeted by Joe Zoladz who then followed through with the maintenance needs for my car. As always, I am so pleased with the service, explanations, and welcome car wash at the end! It couldn't have been a better experience.

I thought I scheduled by oil change on line and then a day later received a call from Zimbrick saying my scheduled appointment was not truly scheduled but only "requested". What's the point of using technology to improve customer service and reduce cost if the customer cannot "schedule" but only "request" an appointment. As it turned out my scheduled time was not available so I had to rearrange my schedule for a different day. Other dealerships allow me to schedule my own service using technology, you need to do the same.

I brought my vehicle in for an oil leak I found while I was changing my oil, which I have successfully done since I got my drivers license (I’m now 51). I had used a better than oem oil filter. The tech took the easy way out and blamed my aftermarket filter for the leak, though b.s. but ok I’ll play the game and had him swap out the filter for a delco oem unit. I picked up my vehicle drove it home, let it sit overnight and in the morning laid underneath to check… imagine my surprise when I found it still leaking! Now I have to make a multi state trip with a leaky oil system because your tech was lazy and didn’t do his job. I have no time for games or incompetence, to say I’m not happy is an understatement

I did not have an appointment but had an emergency service(in my opinion! Had a slow leak in a tire)so drove it in 1st thing in the morning and had it fixed right away. Joe and the staff are so helpful & friendly!

Great service and done ahead of time

So far the experience has been horrible. I scheduled for my vehicle two weeks ahead. Was never contacted about my up coming service. I called to verify that I was in the schedule. I was scheduled but was not contacted. My Sierra EV has VWP that could be done and wanted this to be completed, there is a TSB that shows what to do and even how to bill it to GM. The service advisor and EV service tech knew nothing about this and said that I had no open updates. Which is true this is a VWP modules update. I also asked for tires to be check they were all about 6 psi low, this was never checked or done when I came to pick it up. Next the truck had to go to the body shop for a PDR quote. The quote was not available when I picked up the truck. The service advisor said he would talk to the body shop to get the quote, that never materialized. After a week, I decided to call the body shop my self, they finally sent me the quote, I have since emailed back saying I’d like to move forward, this was last week and it’s now a week later and heard nothing from the body shop. The service adviser on the initial visit also said he would have the tech dig deeper into the VWP module updates, never heard back so called, said he forgot, went a spoke with the tech, the tech still doesn’t know what needs to be done. At this point I’m not sure I or anyone else should ever do business at Zimbrick West GMC. I would like to speak with a store manager. Please call me : Jason Schrandt @ 608-516-3013

Friendly, kept me up to date with repairs

I am 71 years old and have owned quite a few vehicles in my Lifetime. I have also lived in many different cities in the U.S.,..and consequently, have had many different service companies and Service Consultants that have helped me to get the proper service done on all of my vehicles. I can say, without hesitation, that Jennifer Beecher, of GMC Zimbrick West, 1601 W. Beltline Hwy. Madison, Wisconsin is the Best Service Consultant that I have ever had, helping me to keep my vehicle in proper operation. She is efficient, effective, professional, a great communicator, always ensures I understand clearly and completely the service I need to have done, courteous, concerned, very quick to respond to my phone calls, and always wears a smile. It is not often, in today's society, that you find someone of her outstanding caliber of Professionalism and True Concern. This speaks very highly of your Dealership.. Give her a pay raise, and never let her go! ( and No, we are not related :) )

I was referred to Zimbrick GMC, so this was my first experience with them. I was very pleased with the result. A dealership I can trust and they trusted me back.

The sales team was professional and attentive. After an initial test drive, I liked the vehicle, but it had some options that caused it to be outside of my budget. Zane, the sales specialist, did an excellent job of aligning my needs to an incoming unit that was priced in budget and provided all the features I wanted. From there, it was a pleasant and smooth process to make my purchase decision and drive off with a new truck.

I made an appointment for an oil change. When I arrived the person checking me in said I was due for a transmission flush which would add 1 1/2 hours and considerable cost. I need to get that information when I make the appointment, not when I arrive thinking I would be there for about an hour!

They took really good care of me and made sure I had everything I needed.

The WRONG puddle lamp was installed! My Yukon has the 'GMC' logo puddle lamps, and a plain replacement was installed on the driver's side. Very frustrating to make a return trip to get this error rectified.

Usually this service takes approximately an hour to complete but this time it took 2 hours. I would think if there was a problem or delay of some type a service manager would have contacted me about this.

Joe Zoladz and the team kept me well informed along the way and was helpful answering my concerns!

The technician takes longer to identify other problems than to complete the service requested. Three hours for an oil change is NOT acceptable.

After oil change the "check Engine" light came on. I was overcharged for the service and have to correct the charges.

The cost for an oil change is more expensive than the east side zimbrick and I had to wait a month longer to get an appointment. Which I agreed to since I had a coupons sent to me by zimbrick only to find out at the appointment that my coupon wouldn’t work.

Repairs were completed in a timely manner. Communication was excellent.

The service was fast and efficient with multiple touchpoints of communications and a fair price. The facility is clean with multiple waiting areas, and free snacks. All in all a great experience!

The quality of service and the professionalism of the dealership is questionable at best. The vehicle service wasn't completed properly, the vehicle was damaged, and their promise to correct the mistakes and refund the paid but uncompleted work has gone unfulfilled.

Sales person Jordan has very pleasing personality. Offer on my trade was insulting as CarMax gave me more than 3 times what Zimbreck offered, but price on new car was fair, and after selling my trade to CarMax I came back and closed the deal on a new Encore GX.

Went in for squeaky brakes and got new brake pads in November and new bushings on 12/19. Brakes still squeak.

It took nine days of constant calling before I was able to speak with a service advisor. Customer calls are not answered nor are voice messages returned. This is a direct reflection of the service manager's disdain for customer service. These lapses do not occur at the East or Middleton locations.

I was greeted by a very nice gentleman but don't know his name. My service advisor, Joe, was, as always, pleasant and knowledgeable. My car was ready in a satisfactory amount of time.

Ryan and Phil were wonderful. Ryan texted me many times during the week leading up to my purchase to see if he could help with anything or answer any questions. At no point did I feel pressured into buying or making a purchase. Phil helped us on Saturday due to Ryan being busy with other customers. And Ryan came in on his day off when I picked up the vehicle, to make sure that everything was to my liking. I appreciate the amazing job and the wonderful camaraderie that I received with my buying experience.

BEST PARTS DEPT AROUND!!!

Started with not being scheduled to wait for my truck, then the tire was not fixed (had to make another trip) then the sticker (wind shield) was to another vehicle, then it seemed like the oil didn't actually get changed (truck VERY chuggy), had to come back again and wrestle with team about it. They did finally change it again, and the air filter box was not closed. Very poor experience, very unprofessional. Very troublesome. My truck is a major equipment investment. I own large cnc mills as well. If the repairmen for those were this sloppy they would be fired immediately. Just fyi.

I booked an appointment 3 weeks in advance for a headlight replacement. I arrived at the appointment and 45 minutes later was told they don't have the part. When I returned when they had the part I was told that the replacement is $400 even though I had a GMC Platinum Protection Warranty. They used a 15% off coupon to give me a discount even though that didn't cover my spent time or mileage on the first appointment. This is poor engineering on GMC's part and poor service on Zimbrick's.

I’ve been dealing with Zimbrick for over 20 years and have always been very satisfied. Love my Buicks, and the service department is great. Shout-out to Phil and Erica for their wonderful service.

Took about 20 mins longer than stated and after I left the brakes vibrated/rubbed (from the tire rotation). Not sure if debris or oil got on the rotors. Otherwise great experience.

How can it take almost 3 hours to do an oil change when I had an appointment. Not acceptable and I asked to have the service manager call me. No response and no one will take responsibility for this unacceptable service. Not a way to run a dealership.

Dropped car off on 3/19/26 because right side detection stopped working. This is 3rd time for the same problem. Called me following day to pick up car & pay $909.56 for new detection module & harness. Estimate was for $1,333.53. The car was covered in bird poo, so stopped at a car wash on the way home so it wouldn't damage the paint. I called the following Fri. The parts had come in the day before. Made an appointment for 4/2/26 to bring the car in for repairs. Called me that afternoon to say they ordered the wrong harness, so car wouldn't be done until the following day. Picked up car on Fri.4/3 and paid $667.62 for a total of $1,576.62. On the way home when I turned a corner I could hear a rubbing sound. On inspection at home, I found the inner wheel well had been pulled out at the bottom on both sides so it rubbed when I turned the wheel right or left. Another trip back to Zimbrick with my wife following in her car to drop the Impala off again! We have purchased 5 vehicles from Zimbrick over the years because we've always been happy with customer service. Not so much this time. Oh ya, car not washed this time either.

I scheduled an oil change. It all went smoothly. The waiting area was comfortable, and the staff were friendly.

My concern about my lights not being able to turn on was dismissed by the service advisor as "you never turn on your lights manually. You have the automatic headlights" However. The interior detailing that the appointment was booked was outstanding. The interior of my GMC looks brand new. It was outstanding work.

Was a complete waste, I was billed $200 && no work was done. So I paid you money for nothing.

I brought my truck in for the first oil change and they shorted it by 2 quarts. I drove less than 10 miles and I had an alert for low oil. I was able to make it back to the dealership and they topped it off. Not good for a new vehicle.

My salesperson Erin Volden is wonderful. Everything else with my experience has been horrible. It started with taking over 1 year from the time I ordered a Yukon to the time I took delivery of it. I was told it would take one or two months for delivery after ordering. As time passed on and I questioned where the Yukon was, the repeated response from the sales manager Adam was they did not have any allotments to order one, but I was next on the list. The actual vehicle I ordered has still not arrived. I ended up getting a vehicle that allegedly someone else backed out of that had more features and cost more money that what I ordered. I found out this Yukon was in at Zimbrick's dealership via GM website when I built a new vehicle to see if any other dealership had one on their lot. I waited one week after I saw it online before I called them to check why they haven't called me to tell me it was in. I was then told that when it arrived, it had paint defects and a chipped running board. They replaced the running board and took the Yukon to Zimbrick's body shop for the paint correction. While in the body shop, they managed to break the rear side window, so I had to wait even longer to get it. When I arrived at the dealership to purchase it, the Yukon still had glass shards scattered in it and there are still paint imperfections even though it went thru detailing. Against my better judgement I purchased it from Zimbrick because I was tired of waiting and my salesperson Erin is awesome. From day one of ownership the lowering of the vehicle for easy entry is in-operable. It also has issues with sporadic "no content available" icon for music and the mapping system. I have an appointment to fix these issues and to remove the back interior panels to remove the glass shards that are still rattling in the back inside the vehicle. I will see how good service is when I get there.

Excellent customer service. This is the second vehicle we have purchased from Zimbrick. We have to drive over an hour to get there and it is well worth the drive.

1. Service was performed on the transmission to update the programming. I have asked what the update was to accomplish and have not heard back. It seems like the update changed the shift points and the transmission is now changing gears more frequently. 2. I asked about why the tailgate was popping at the end of its opening cycle. I was given no satisfactory answer and nothing was changed. I was still charged for an hour of labor with no satisfactory result.

As Always Stuart always provide excellent customer service and support. In fact, Stuart is the ONLY REASON I'm a customer of Zimbrick. He truly understands what it takes to provide good customer support.

My sales associate, Erin Volden was exceptional. She got me the best discounts on my new car and even went above and beyond when I needed extra help with my Wi Fi situation. Turned out the Wi Fi had nothing to do with the car but with On Star. Our communication was excellent on all fronts and will definitely recommend her to my friends. We have gotten cars before at Zimbrick's so I was expecting nothing less.

The service department was very helpful and took care of the oil change and they have ordered what is needed to fix the problem with the clock and another dashboard issue.

I was pleased with all aspects of the experience except one. I anticipated that the work would be completed the same day that I dropped off my vehicle. It was not completed until about 4:00 the next day. Since a loaner vehicle was provided, the extra day was certainly not a crisis, but I was disappointed that the work took an extra day.

Service was great, but a customer should receive an appointment calendar event via email and text once an appointment is made, not only on the day before the actual event. That doesn't make much sense.

We had a great experience at Zimbrick Buick/GMC West. Came in to your dealership with the idea of looking at the Sierra 1500 and then going to look at Ford trucks. However, the time we spent with Ryan Cushin was what convinced us that we did not need to go to the Ford dealership. It was great working with a knowledgeable person when it came to vehicles, dealerships, etc.. Whatever question we had, he knew the answer. Ryan is someone I would come back to the next time I purchase a vehicle.
